Messiah Ministries

We offer many opportunities for ministry.

Vocal Choir: meets on Sundays before and after worship for practice and occasionally at other times as planned

Bell choir: meets Thursdays 7:30 PM (September-May) and plays monthly at the 10 AM service

Altar Guild: a member is responsible for the care of the altar each week

Acolytes: the youth have taken this ministry and three are serving each Sunday

Sunday school teachers: meet monthly to plan and discuss

Ushers: welcome people for worship and provide books and bulletins as appropriate

Greeters: welcome visitors and offer hospitality as appropriate

Coffee hour hosts: provide the Sunday reception we offer

Snow team: Shovel and salt as needed

Garden team: work as needed

Eucharistic ministers: offer the consecrated wine or grape juice during the worship

Eucharistic visitors: take Holy Communion to those who are unable to come to church
