The Messiah Ringers rehearsed through the fall months, in increasingly wet, windy, and cold weather! We found so much joy in coming together each Sunday to make music together. Bell Choir became a high-intensity sport in some ways, as we set up our tables each week, carted bells cases to our filming location at the beautiful St. John's Convent, and braved the weather elements! But these hard working musicians were dedicated and patient - and we had a whole lot of fun!
We hope that you enjoy this Christmas Concert of favorite hymns and tunes. We are so grateful to the sisters of the Community of St. John Baptist for the use of their covered archway - you probably won't be able to tell that those recordings were made on a day of heavy rain!
Bell Choir practice will resume in the New Year - as soon as it feels mild enough to play outside again. And, of course, we all look forward to the day when we can play (and then SING) together indoors - as then at least we won't have to worry about the cold, the heat, the sun, the wind, the rain.. or the bugs!!
Wishing you and yours a beautiful Christmas season and a very Happy New Year.
