Women's, Youth, Men's, and Kids clothes as well as "Back to Work" outfits, vintage specials, accessories, jewelry, hats, purses, shoes...we have it all!
It is located in the lower level of the building, at the back.
Park either in front of the lower building or in the parking lot on the upper level.
Follow the signs. To donate: call the office 908 879 7208 or email us. We welcome seasonal clothing on hangers (whenever possible), accessories also.
We offer VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL, August 9 - 13 from 9am - 12 noon.
It is for children aged from 4 to 11 and for older youth as helpers. There is no charge but donations for Chester or Washington food pantries are welcomed. Come and enjoy all the activities. There will be stories, songs, crafts, games and snacks.

District-wide Singles Group
You are invited to join the singles group "Singles Social Gathering" at the monthly events. The August event will be a potluck picnic and outdoor games at Church of the Messiah on Saturday August 28. Call the church office or email for more information
Neighbors in Need:
On September 19 we will remember needy people in the Chester area by contributing to the Chester food pantry. Please bring items any time on or before that day.
Bible Study
The day group begins a study of Isaiah and meets on Tuesdays from 1:30 - 2:30 in the lower hall. (No class August 31.)
The evening session resumes Monday, September 13 at 7:20 p.m. in the conference room following 7:00pm Evening prayer in the church. .
Lunch Book Group meets Tuesdays at the diner at 12 noon (no meeting August 31)
Our current book is Wisdom Distilled from the Daily by Joan Chittister and is about the Benedictine rule of daily prayer. We will discuss Chapter 7 when we meet.
English Language Instruction resumes on Sunday September 19, from 12 noon - 1:30 at Chester library. Please contact Ed or Mija if you want to be a part of this very important outreach to our community.
Contemplative/Centering Prayer every Wednesday at 8am (September 1, excluded)
The next guidance session on this wonderful method of connecting ourselves with God will be held on Wednesday september 8th from 6-8 pm. Speak to Christy, Pieter or Margaret if you want further details.
Homeless Solutions on Thursday September 2 and Saturday September 18 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. We invite anyone who wishes to help to sign up in the parish hall. Next Dates are in November
There will be a parish pool party and picnic at Debbie and Glen's on Sunday August 22 after the morning worship. Contact the church if you wish to attend either party.
Community Soup Kitchen on Saturday, October 3. We will be serving meat loaf so please sign up to serve or to bring meat loaves.
Haven of Hope BBQ on Saturday, August 14th. We are going to help the Haven of Hope ministry by sponsoring a BBQ for about 15 people. It will be at Hope and we will be cooking for a family with a chronically sick child who will come to Hope for a week's respite family vacation. The sign up sheet is in the Parish Hall. Speak to Margaret for more details.
Bishop's Visit Sunday, September 12, at 8 & 10 am and the forum at 9 am
A very important date in the life of any congregation in our diocese is the bishop's visit. He was last here in May 2008. Please make every effort to join us for worship on that date.

The SRC invites all Golfers to attend a Golf Tournament on Monday September 27 at the Bear Brook Golf Club in Newton. The Tournament starts at 12 noon with registration from 11am. The day includes box lunch, prizes, cocktail hour and dinner following the tournament. Fees are $150 for an individual and $550 for a foursome
